FlowSyn™ Estimated Reaction Time Calculator

This calculator will either give you an estimate of:

(i) How your reaction time decreases with temperature, or
(ii) What temperature you need to run your reaction at to go to the same extent but in a different time.

FlowSyn™ Estimated Reaction Time Calculator

Instructions:

(i) Enter a known reaction temperature (Temperature 1) and time (Time 1)

then either:

(ii) Enter a new reaction temperature (Temperature 2) and click “Calculate” to give the corresponding new reaction time (Time 2)

or

(iii) Enter a new reaction time (Time 2) and click “Calculate” to give the required temperature (Temperature 2).

Known reaction temperature and time:

Temperature 1:  °C                             Time 1: :: (hr) (min) (sec)

Unknown reaction temperature or time:

Temperature 2:  °C                             Time 2: :: (hr) (min) (sec)

Notes: Calculations use the Arrhenius equation with a null frequency factor (A) and an Activation Energy (EA) of 50kJ mol-1
