FlowSyn 'Cold'

Flow chemistry is an ideal tool for performing fast exothermic chemistries. The high surface area/volume ratio of the tubing reactors allows heat generated by a chemical reaction to be rapidly dissipated. However, active cooling may be required, particularly if there is a requirement to perform a reaction below ambient temperature.

With FlowSyn 'Cold' it is now possible to perform sub-ambient chemistries with ease. A separate chiller is used to maintain stable low temperatures for long periods of time.

Moreover, where the 'chiller' also has the ability to heat, reactions may also be performed at up to 150°C, thereby offering a wide temperature range in a single flow reactor package.
